Is the Eastern Conference soft this year with the exception of the Miami Heat?

Usually the eastern conference is always weak. But this year was suppose to be different, the east has some really good teams, but they are suffering because of injurues. Bulls still dont have derrick rose, knicks have melo and amare constantly getting injured, celtics have rondo and barbosa injured, granger was injured for the pacers early on, and lopez for the nets missed a lot of games. 5 of the top 6 teams in the east have been battling with injuries and would've had better records if they didnt have any injuries. I still think the west is better this year, but there's definitely more balance this year as opposed to the previous decade. If the eastern teams didnt have so many injuries then the conference wouldnt have been so weak, but so far its been weak like every year

It's very simple Heat will win another Championship, and in the West, to Spurs will fade(like they always do), the Clippers are the Clippers(they'll find a way to lose), and the Thunder will go back to the Finals(but with Durant, and Westbrook, simply don't have the killer-instinct to win).

Yes The East is really weak. The only team i see giving the Heats problems in the playoffs would be either the Celtics or the Knicks. Otherwise the East should be able to breeze through the first two rounds. No other contenders in the East save for these 3.

Yeah the East is pretty weak this year. Miami should walk away with it pretty easily. Indiana plays them hard though. And if D. Rose can comeback and play like he has the Bulls could be a threat but not likely.
