Excel question please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Confuse?

How Calculate the Sales taxes as the Subtotal by multiply by 7.75%.

And the Total as the Subtotal Plus the sales Tax.

The subtotal is 398. ty

    Assuming cell A1 contains the amount to be taxed and totaled, enter this in cell A2:

    =A1*0.775

    Enter this in cell A3:

    =A1 + A2

    Format A2 and A3 as Number, two decimal places.
