Did you want obama raising taxes as he is doing?
He said he would never raise taxes on the middle class, well he lied.....badly. Even the media knows it. Did you vote for more government spending, and higher taxes? Thanks.....

Am I the last realist in the country?
He came into office at a time when we needed to have jobs, and re-stabilize a country on the edge, fairy dust won't cut it. Money does, and money comes from the people in the form of taxes.
The Ryan Republicans think we can do this by throwing government workers out of jobs, and cutting back on Medicare and Social Security so we don't have to go back to take out the Bush Temporary Tax cuts, note the word Temporary, the wealthy have had them now for over ten years and have done nothing with them but more vacations. In Europe. We don't even get that small measure of money back.
He's doing what needs to be done, I did vote for that.
Its time to rethink that idea. Obama, btw, can't raise taxes, all revenue bills must originate, by law, in the House.

He didn't except in the right wing echo chamber. The payroll tax holiday expired and the c0ns failed to renew it. So they raised taxes on the Middle Class. All part of the Make Obama Look Bad agenda.

the tax rate for people making 400,000 or more was raised. the social security tax holiday that was part of the stimulus plan was lifted. while i don't like paying for old people to live a certain quality of life, i guess it is what it is. if i remember the republicans were suppose to be against the stimulus in the first place. so why now complain

Your premise is false. The President does not have the power to raise taxes. Only Congress has that ability. Your team lost, and America won.

Sure, why not? The government needs to soak up all those $100 bills that they have been printing to keep the economy afloat.
Just a form of macro-economic recycling like bottles, cans, and newspapers.

A completely ignorant person.
A President, any President, has NO ability to raise taxes on anyone by themselves.
CONGRESS passes bills.
effing duh
Oh, and BTW. Obama never said any such thing. He was speaking of INCOME taxes.
