Should learn to read music notes before learning guitar?
I am 18, male, I want to learn guitar but I don't really have some knowledge of music.
I can sing, and rap a bit, and my friend say my voice is above average.
He says you can learn guitar even before you know how to read music notes, is that true?
If it's true then which one should I learn first, guitar or read music notes?

You can learn to play many famous songs without ever learning how to read music, but learning proper musical notation will open many more doors for you down the road. I'd say you should do both. Maybe get a teacher.

Of all the great guitarists I've played with over the last 30 or so years, almost none of them actually read music. If you want to teach or compose it would be a good idea. Of course you can never know too much, but you certainly don't need to read musical notation to learn how to play guitar.
