Carpet Cleaning Chemicals?
Hi
I use the Alltec carpet cleaning machine, and just wondering which carpet cleaning solution is the best to use and safe to use on all carpets including pure wool. I have had some people say M-Power is one of the best but it's so expensive.
What do you guys recommend. It has to be good for real dirty carpets too and as a pre-spray.
I live in the UK.
Thanks
Darran

Hi Darran
I just cleaned my carpets and used the recommended solutions for the machine I do however, also use some Eucalyptus oil in the machine when ever I do my carpets. I usually add 2 or 3 caps when I put the detergent in and it is highly recommended with anything wool. It also removes gum and stains, sanitises and gets rid of pet smells leaving the house with a fresh natural clean smell. It works really well every time. It is safe to use in the carpet cleaning machines. I even put it in the wash with towels as it kills bacteria and keeps the towels fresh and if the kids use a sticker on the wall (gulp) it takes them straight off. It's quite cheap to buy.
Hope they come out nice

attempt some powdered borax. Sprinkle on a small component to the carpet first and attempt overlaying with a towel for a jiffy to resign any probability of the cat licking it (will make him very ill). Then vacuum it up suitable. If this isnt something you prefer to objective only get a bucket of heat water and a few eucalyptyus oil in it...little or no. Get a extensive sponge and soak it interior the water then wring it out so its damp. Rub in a single course over the carpet - this could carry the hair mutually right into a damp clump which would be vacuumed up certainly.

When cleaning wool, use a cleaner with a PH of 8 to 81/2, for soiled carpets such as Nylon, Olefin, Polyester, go a little stronger, such as a PH of 10 or so. With Olefin, you can actually go a little higher as this carpet has oil in it and also attracts oil, such as cooking oils.
