Which Translation is Correct? - Russian?

I don't understand why some translations are the same and some are different.

Ok, so on the internet, I translated "I love it" to Russian, it said "Я люблю его" - However, on my iPhone, it said "Я люблю это"

They are different, but when I translate "This is amazing, nice work" - On both my iPhone and the internet, it said "Это удивительно, хорошая работа"

Why are some translations different and which one is correct?

"I love it" (speaking about a thing not a person) = "Я люблю это" or "Мне это очень нравится"

"Я люблю его" means "I love him".

"This is amazing, nice work" = "Здорово! Отличная работа"

Automatic translators translate WORDS not MEANINGS some expressions convey. That is why they are still so unreliable.

It's a mistake though to confuse "it" with "him".

Very often, automatic translation is incorrect. Any word has a lot of different meanings. This fact is the main source of incorrect translation. Slava is right. However, in minority of situations, "его" can relate not only to a person, but to an inhuman notion as well. For example, "Я люблю его" (аромат роз,дух авантюризма и т.д.)

I'm Russian and I'm ready to help.

    I love it - Я люблю это

"его" means "him" , while "это" means "this/it" .

So the one on your iPhone is correct.

It's probably different because there are many stuff that other nations use as "it" while Russians use as "him".

I lived in Russia for some time and I could not learn Russian. It is really difficult language.

An example they can say you I like it in Russian "Мне мнравится это. Это мне мнравится. Мнравится мне это" etc. They use intonation as well that make some different values of this sentence.

    P.S.

I agree with the answer of Slava T.

Well, think about our own language, there's lots of different words that in essence mean the exact same thing, and at the same time, one word can have dozens of meanings; it's the same case in many different languages.
