I'd say domestication means making the line easier for humans to interact with. Artificial selection is the method by which domestication occurs, but it can also be used to make other changes in the genome that wouldnt be considered domestication. Using A.S. to make African bees even more aggressive, for example, certainly wouldnt be considered domesticating them.

Artificial selection (also known as unnatural selection) is a selective breeding process that produces desirable traits.
Domestication is the change in the genetic information of wild animals or plants, and their subsequent integration into the everyday activities of humans - for beneficial use or to accompany them. Domestication is a *type* of artificial selection.
Normally, a breeder will artificially select domesticated plants or animals for a particular trait.

Silver foxes are appreciated for the fur.
There are few left in the wild so people started breeding them in cages, selecting the better furs for breeders.
A farm of foxes is like hell.
A new selection was implemented to breed only the ones that appeared to be tamer. Now you get tame foxes that you can cuddle with before skinning them to make a coat.
I think that that should answer your question.
