Why were ppl stronger back in the days when they put cocaine in toothache medicine?
They even made it for children. Morphine and other drugs were available without a prescription too, and ppl were stronger back then. Why should this have been?

Believe it or not, cocaine does have some medical uses just like marijuana. It is known to dramatically reduce fever when reaching near fatal levels like 110 degrees (which is death territory). Aspirin, tylenol or similar will take several minutes before fever begins to drop. When a patient is at 109, there isn't that much time and a dose of cocaine will bring that patient to 97 degrees within few seconds only.
But due to the bad rap, doctors and hospitals are terrified to use it for life threatening or acute medical ailments. They envision handcuffs (and so does everyone else) when they hear or listen to the word cocaine.
It is a dangerous drug, very true but it still has medical uses in severe situations where time is running out or pain is reaching unbearable levels

just like any substance, abuse of it can affect you health. the same goes for alcohol and thats still legal. same goes for pain killers and they're legal. the fact that drugs like cocaine and marijuana are banned by the govt is ridiculous when both have multiple medicinal purposes. why are drugs that are just as bad as coke and weed are legal, but those two drugs are banned in America when they could be useful for healthcare as well. doesnt make sense

Drugs. They do your body good. (When used correctly)
The government has no business banning substances.
