Poll: would you date someone who smoked cigarettes?

I'm a smoker and before I met my bf who is also a smoker, I dated quite a few guys among them being non-smokers. At first they had no problem with my smoking, but after a while they thought I should quit even being a light smoker. So quite frankly, you could ask the question, 'If you're a smoker would you date a non-smoker'? For myself the answer is no. Then again, I wouldn't date someone who is a pack a day smoker and am quite fortunate that my bf is a light smoker as well.

Good I used to smoke cigarettes usually however i've quit and my boyfriend still does, now not around me because i'm pregnant but I still am gonna be with him. He is quitting though. And i cannot return to smoking after i have my little one. I comprehend now how disgusting it is and Im so completely satisfied I give up lol. But if I wasnt a smoker and the man I favored smoked.....I might nonetheless date him.....Im the style of individual that wont choose any one for anything like that although.

Dude, it is just pathetic to dislike someone just because she/he smokes.

I met so many beautiful and smart girls who smoke and non of them had chimney lungs because it takes years for this to happen I mean upto 30 years

I know you would think that because someone smokes they smell bad and look repulsive an dhave bad breath which is not true. my girlfriend smoked and she had fresh breath didnt smell like smoke and i oculdent taste it when we made out i had no idea she smoked until 4 months in when i found a pack .

I would never date a guy who smokes... I wouldn't want to kiss anyone with stinky breath, or be close to anyone with smelly hair and clothes.... plus it looks totally awful..
