I tried uninstalling an old security software?

I got this free software last year and I am trying to uninstall it but it seems like it is taking forever so when I want to stop it, I reboot my laptop and when I try another one to uninstall, it says please wait until uninstalling is done. Can someone tell me what the problem may be?

    here is the uninstalling utility by AVG select your OS version (64 bit or 32) run the tools as admin

    and let it do its magic. thank you for chooseing me.
