What's wrong with my brother?
My brother is doing absolutely nothing with his life. He is 25 has no job and still lives at home with my mom who is planning to kick him out soon. I notice that he always talks about the past and how me and my other siblings used to look up to him.
Is there a disorder where people talk about the past because they're ashamed if their lives? Or is he just clueless?
How can I motivate him to do something with his life. He hasn't had a job for years and he has three kids. I love my brother and I don't want him to be on the streets , please help if you can.

He's probably really regretful of the decisions he has made and too depressed about it to do anything with his life. He just needs motivation. Maybe a heart to heart would work? Tell him about how much you care about him and how when you were little he was such a great role model. (Say this gently because it'll probably be a pretty sensitive topic) you miss that part of him, that part that you know is still inside him somewhere. He needs to be motivated to do something. With his life.he needs to be told how important he is to you and how much you really want to see him succeed. Be honest and sensitive...tell him that if he wants you to help him you're there for him always. Hopefully things will work out and he will realize that he needs to do something with his life to bet the brother he once was

Try to talk to him. He must have something bugging him if he's always talking about the past. I don't think he has a disorder though.

Try to give him a friendly and brotherly lecture. Try to make him feel in this world as a brother to remember.
