Yes.
Bcuz birds are meant for flying freely in the sky,
and we human not.allowing that to happened.
One should not cage a bird at home :-D

No, Once a pet always a pet. Any pet if freed is not accepted in its society & often killed. Even if not killed it cannot survive in the new atmosphere as it does not know where & how to procure food.
One should free only the newly caught animals & birds not the older one.
I never keep pets. Once you keep you should keep it for its life time. Freeing the pets is killing them.

one should always protect and feed the birds .merely presence of bords reduces the probability of disease
