I hit a parked car and left a note what to do next?
I went near the city of Miami to do a drug test and TB for my employer, before I parked in the parking lot I noticed that i did not see the white pavement of the car and accidentally when i was going in I scratched the bottom left side of the SUV it was a Chevy 2003 I believe. I scratched it by accident, I wrote the owner a letter saying that I was sorry and i left my contact information. I do not know what to do next? I took a picture of the damage and write the persons license plate number and the model/ make and the year. I feel horrified, I do not know if i need to go the police department in that location or wait for this person to call me, I couldn't find him. I feel bad What a crazy day for me?

Hi Raquel,
Sorry that you had a bad day, because of that incident at the parking lot. I agree with all the answers you have received on your post and that you did the very right thing in leaving the sorry note with your contact number. The next thing that may happen is that the Guy Chevy truck you hit, may contact you and or from his insurance company. You don't have to contact the local police for the incident, his insurance company will call you to get the information from you. Most likely your insurance will cover for the truck damages and your insurance rate could increase but it may not. I suggest to wait until the Guy or the insurance company calls you and then go from there to resolve the matter. Accidents do happen just don't stress yourself out over it, you will be okay.
God bless you!!!

First off, good for you for being honest about the accident. You're a rare and kind individual for leaving a note. The first thing you should do is call your insurance company and send them the photo of the accident and the license number of the car you damaged. Your insurance company will be able to figure out who the owner of the car is and will contact his/her insurance company. From there, you can expect a call from your adjuster and they will ask you about the particulars of the accident. Just be honest; accidents happen. Assuming the damage was minor and you don't have a history of getting into wrecks, this shouldn't affect your monthly payments. If the owner of the car calls, just give him your insurance information. Do not give out any additional personal information (i.e., where you live, work number, etc..) Everything should be handled by the insurance companies at this point.

If it was minor, they probably won't care and nothing happens next.
The police have nothing to do with if as long as it is under $1000 worth of damage.
If they do contact you, it would only be to get your insurance agents information, and he handles all the rest.
Don't worry about it.
It happens to everyone.

maximum situations the owner is a million/2 trouble-free. in spite of each and every thing you're a "trucker form" or "biker form". She do no longer understand. it is likewise possible to be a criminal expert. and you took photographs. returned "she do no longer understand, for effective" Now she may well be waiting for the vast crash the place it is the different drivers fault and her automobile is roofed via their coverage. So all of it gets fixed up. i understand i'm hoping for the comparable(variety of) as my deductible is larger than the wear right now. Now to the autobody save...it makes no distinction to them in the event that they are fixing one dent or 10 dents on the automobile...as they are gonna could paint the full automobile in any case. interior the backyard, do you in straightforward terms weed a row, or do you weed the full backyard? maximum do the backyard. comparable variety of concept. the certainty she reported that others have hit her this 365 days, skill she probably does no longer have even observed your scrape. (one factor approximately broken vehicles, while they initiate up looking ratty, they %. up added injury a lot swifter than undamaged ones.) you may't teach squat. extra advantageous to bypass via coverage because of the fact the fee to repair has jumped dramatically (used to get an entire automobile painted for a case of beer and bottle of Rye) no longer from now on. can't even purchase the paint for that. returned, it would desire to be her "beater" automobile or an ex boyfriend she do unlike so she is probably no longer being concerned. you may ask which bodyshop she have been given the estimate from and you would be able to ask them your self what they envisioned they are doing for artwork on that automobile.

I have a 2003 Chevy pickup. If you left me a note, I would have laughed and thrown it away. Do not worry. If it is important, they will find you.
