How do you feel about next gen games going to 70 dollars?

well , the " chip " can cost up to 25 cents , then you have to pay for the 20 programmers working for 6 months straight , by they outsource to india or china , so that can't be more that $75K total . then there is marketing , shipping costs . 300 - 500 % markup for wholesale profits , 300 - 500 % markup for retail profits and you are up to $ 70 bucks .

Sony has said that ps4 games will be in the 99 cents to 60 dollar range, so interpret it as you like. Some people think that normal games will not be over 60 dollars but other people think 70 is within the 60 dollar price range.

I personally don't care about the price range. Just means that I'll have to pick my games more carefully. Instead of buying whatever game that I might have an interest in, I'll just get the games that I want to play right away. So no more fighting games on launch. I'll just wait until they're cheap, which only takes a few months , or when there are special deals.

I can also check out more sites for deals. Amazon sometimes have 20 dollar credit for preordering a game. Best buy gives 20 dollar gift cards for being a gamers club unlocked member. If you buy a lot of games, it might be worth it to pay the membership fee.

Yes, it is crazy, but with everything else going up, it is not surprising. I am sure the with the new technology, and new materials to put the information on(the game) has increased. Not to mention, the cost of programmers, testers, and whatever else. Special Editions will also be more, I only hope that the companys make it worth it. I typically do not buy special editions anyway. So that matter will not affect me.

And they wonder why peopl download pirated copies and chip their consoles. That pricing is pretty expensive. Just because the software they use to make the game is getting more sophisticated, doesnt mean their costs go up, usually. I cannot find any reason to justify that sort of pricing, and would not pay that much unless i was rich.

Ps4 games will be $80-$100 they can't help it, the blu rays they need for the games are 100 gbs. I personally suggest switching to pc.

I promise you mate, stay with XP, i made the blunders of going to vista, and it screwed my video games up, i could no longer run particular hardware. it is loopy. In some 365 days all structures are going back to domicile windows xp in any case :)
