I get emails for adds using my email for address, how do I stop?

lets say my name is john weis. so my email is johnweis1234@yahoo.com. so now I'm getting spam with johnweis1234@yahoo.com to johnweis1234@yahoo.com. when i hover the mouse at the header its still johnweis ect ect. how do I stop this? I know to use the @whatever in the blocked address section in options but I cant use this because I think I will block all emails to me. any suggestion?

    Based on your description it sounds like you may be getting spam from your own address.

    Now, it is possible that you've been receiving messages that have forged headers. If this is the case, it may appear that the messages are coming from your address, but are actually coming from somewhere else. In this case, you can mark the sender as spam (and since you don't send yoruself emails) this should not affect what you see in your inbox.

    Have U tried changing your password? It might also help if you also check your personal details in your account just to make sure that know one has high jacked your Yahoo account.
