Why does every NBA team have a better record at home and not on the road?
You can look at all other professional sports teams and none of them have as big a disparity of what they are able to accomplish at home versus road games. Good teams can win on the road and bad teams can lose at home but year-after-year all teams do better at home. What is it about NBA basketball that makes home court advantage so important as compared to other sports?
I never give a "Thumbs Down" that came from someone else.

I really don't get it either
I figure maybe the away team is just a little bit off because
1.They probably had to get up early as hell and take a plane trip
2.They're getting boo'ed at the whole time
But apparently, that is just enough to cost teams games
Which I guess makes sense cause alot of games are won by a margin on just a few points... being tired & being boo'ed can be just enough to cost you a few shots I guess

Some of its mental, some physical and some environmental. Fans can get in the visiting teams head, they could be fatigued from travel, and in some cases, as in the nuggets case, environment plays a HUGE role (high altitude=thin air)

Unlike sports like football, Basketball takes extreme skill and focus, If you have 20,000+ fans going against you it is going to be tough, Also the NBA plays games like back to back, Where the NFL plays once a week, It is alot mentally

Officiating. NBA officials are terrible compared to other sports. They do favor home teams, often with make-up calls.

yeah it does, NFL, it is harder to play in north east then
playing in the south the team from north east will have a
better chance winning against a team from the south if
team from NE have the home field.
on top of that, all NFL player can tell you hardest place
to play would be Denver.

the two one in each of what the previous adult males pronounced, and additionally that they are greater attentive to the way the ball will bounce off of the two the floor, and the boards for rebounds. as properly, its not basically basketball, that's often that way in all activities.
