I don't understand how to use internet forums?

I see the same questions being asked over and over with no answers. And what is a thread? Where is this explained for a computer novice?

A thread is a thread, simply meaning it's a stitch upon the forum. It's a small piece of it.

You will see redundancy within these forums because:

A.) Some people are impatient and refuse to wait a little white for a good answer

B.) Some people accidentally submit it more than once

    Some will go unanswered because:

A.) The question lacks some key information.

B.) Active users do not know the answer

C.) The question can easily be solved by google.
