Do you wear drug store makeup or higher end makeup?

High end. My skin is hypersensitive. I've had pretty bad allergic reactions from swollen eyelids to a all swollen face, not funny, and all of them without exception were cheap stuff. I learned the hard way that saying "you get what you pay for." I payed cheap, I really did get cheap stuff. I also have oily skin, it means that in addition to being hypoallergenic, the makeup has to be oil-free and non-comedogenic as well. I don't fall anymore this bs that a $5 foundation has all of this just like a $ 50 one. So I just can't skimp on makeup. Maybe a cheap nail polish, but not makeup.

However, I'm not saying that all high end brand is great, i tried smashbox and I didn't like it so much. MAC also isn't too good for me. And I don't think all drugstore makeup is bad, you can still find decent stuff like some Revlon and L'Oréal. Currently, I wear Clinique, BareMinerals, Dior, Stila and Lâncome stuff. They're amazing! Clinique has worked perfectly for me. They're expensive, but worth invest in because they do their job extremely well done. Actually, I should recommend every girl / woman, if possible, make an effort to buy a higher quality brand. It's your face and you're putting several chemicals on it, you have to take care and don't put any cheap crap on.

I use a mix of both. Just because something is high end, it doesn't make it a better product! An example of this would be Collection 2000's concealer. It's only like £4 but it's amazing! Better than my chanel one by far! But yet again, I use the MAC studio fix fluid as foundation as it's my favourite with amazing coverage and wear!

I have a mix of all things from both. I buy a lot from Revlon, NYX, L'Oreal, Wet n Wild, Milani in the drugstore and some Urban Decay, NARS, Make Up For Ever, Lancome etc high end. I also order from cheap sites online like MUA Makeup Academy, Coastal Scents, Sleek Makeup.

I have about an equal amount of both in my collection. When it comes to makeup I refuse to believe that high end is better than drugstore or vise versa- there are great products from both. My current makeup routine looks as follows:

Primer: Drugstore- L'Oreal Lumi Primer

Foundation: Drugstore- Revlon Nearly Naked

Concealer: Drugstore- Maybelline Fit Me

Powder: High End- MAC MSFN

Mascara: High End- Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill

Liquid Liner: High End- Lancome Artliner

Pencil Liner: High End- Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof

Brows: High End- Le Sourcil De Chanel Kit

Blush: High End- Clinique Cream Blush

Eyeshadow/ Lips- Both!

This is just my makeup routine right now but it does differ. I personally have never found a drugstore blush, liquid/pencil liner or brow kit that I like (not to say they're not out there) though I don't find the Chanel Kit that great either. I do like high end products but I also really love what I get at the drugstore particularly my Nearly Naked foundation ^.^

Drug store. Its just as good a quality as the higher end of my better. I really wanted the naked pallet but its ridiculously expensive. Ican get so much more for 50$. The only high end stuff I hav is Mac eyeliner brushes and gel liner ( which I actually have bought the maybelline an Loreal and like them too. ) or makeup that comes with the Clinique and Estée Lauder gifts

i have both. i like both i have all the naked plattes `1 and 2 and i have the new naked basics one.i buy mostly urban deacy and mac for higher end and for drug store i buy wet n wild. maybelline. loreal. and rimmel at the drug store

I buy my tinted mositurizer, eyeliner, mascara high end! Sometimes eyeshadow since ny skin is very sensitive!

my grandpa used to work at a coal company & they had different company bags & they would put the coal in different bags for their stores.

so therefore the make up isnt really different. just check the ingredence.
