Can I eat salmon completely raw?

Like catch a salmon, and kill it with your teeth, and eat it. Like a bear would, except bears usually only eat the skin and brain. Anyway, Casey Anderson was teaching a bear named Bruce how to fish and stuff, and when a bear was done eating the skin and brain, Casey took the rest of the fish out of the water and ate it. He also caught some with his bare hands and bit into it. And he seems fine. But I just want to be sure. Lol

Sushi restaurants serve raw salmon all the time.

I have eaten it, quite tatsy.

I think that you may want to look into whether the salmon needs to be drained of its blood first.

But, it's not gonna kill you, no.

Oh ya - you'd probably end up with a few intestinal worms... they're quite common in bears. But raw salmon is excellent food. Don't the Japanese sell you raw fish (Sushi?) for high prices?

The bear only does that because the bear doesn't know how to put a little salt and pepper and grill it over an open fire. Hopefully you do.

Its safer to freeze or cook it in case it contains parasites or eggs. And you can't digest it properly, so you couldn't live on it. But sushi is raw fish, as long as its very fresh you should be ok.

No, eat it fresh from the sewer and remember to add some vanilla essence to its bollocks.

If you want to, as long as it's fresh.
