Where can you go to make some really special friendships? As I'm excruciatingly depressed right now! =(?

Sorry that my message was so long but I felt as though I really needed to express myself to get the message across perfectly! =D

I'm a really social person! I really love chatting away with people! Creating really lovely conversations and keeping friends company all the time when they want to hang out! When I'm around my family, I'm really good at hiding my emotions! So it doesn't look as though I'm depressed, even though I really am. Because I'd be embarrassed if they were to find out that I'm actually depressed.

But ever since I finished High School which was 2 years ago, all my friends have grown so distant from me and don't take initiative at all to contact me! I guess it's because everyone has their own obligations! Like going to UNI or TAFE or getting a job that keeps them busy! Or meeting new people and forgetting about you! But even when I text them, email them they never respond! Even if I phone them quite often they don't respond.

I feel isolated, lonely, worthless, pointless, and so depressed to the point that their is no actual possible way to describe how hollow inside I feel! And friendship means the world to me! As friendship overules everything to me! Because one thing in life you don't come across too often are true best friends who stick by you to the very end! =( I mean I'm very passionate about my sports, music as I'm my own solo artist and that's what stops me from going into the final stages of depression and then there's my love for realistic sketching in art and photography nature, which helps me escape from society for a while and be one with peace, myself and God! But I consider friends to be second most important to God!

And I used to be friends with these guys for 5 years! I always thought my friendship with them was so aweseme we'd never stop keeping in touch!

I'll be really appreciative if I get any responses!!! I just wanted to know where you can go to make friends? Beause I'm no longer in school. I am doing an Information Technology and Graphic Design TAFE Course but through OTEN which means you can do all your work at home, so there's no interaction! As I work really fast on my own being able to type at 102 words per minute on the computer!

I want to know where you can go to form really strong bonds with people all over again?
