Has anybody ever won an appeal on here?
I have been reported TWICE by the same troll (I wont say his name because I am sure he will report me again) in a span of less then 5 minutes for calling him a troll. I am appealing and I wanted to know if any of you have ever won an appeal.

Back before they changed the appeal format, but rarely. I'm just surprised how much power they give to report-happy trolls without overturning the decision.

I have won appeals. But you have to be careful with trolls. That’s because calling someone a “troll” (even if true) is construed as “insulting another member.” It's a very serious violation of the Community Guidelines that can warrant the suspension of a user's account. Simply calling someone a troll does not answer their question (no matter how poorly conceived their question may have been to begin with). The best approach is to respond to the question seriously and include some polite statement that you doubt the sincerity of their content

I have won appeals when trolls report my answers, 5 out of 6. 83%.

I won a couple a long time ago. I haven't seen a response to an appeal in the last five months, so I'm not sure yahoo cares anymore.

Yes but rarely . The report monkeys use more than one account so they can report more than once and evidently the numbers count more than the content . I don't even appeal anymore .

rarely - the reporting "system" here is OUT OF CONTROL
but it happens now and then - Appeal!!
I hope this was of use

Nope. This is not a free speech area. It's a forum managed by the private sector company that owns the space. So we don't get to see what we are accused of saying. There is no appeal. It is just the way it is.

Yes, I have won several. If you didn't break the rules and your appeal is clearly written, you should get satisfaction.
