(1 / x) * x = 0 * x

    The first statement implies that x is equal to infinite, becauce we can obtain 0 by dividing some number only if the divider is infinite. The problem is in second step you have cancelled x with x which is infinite divided by infinite, a indeterminate form. You cannot cancel it.

    i visit coach this by contradiction. evidence: permit x be an arbitrary ingredient interior the set of actual numbers such that x =/= 0, x > 0, and a million/x <= 0. Then, a million/x*x <= 0*x. hence, a million <= 0, yet a million > 0. this could be a contradiction. hence, a million/x > 0. ?

    Just to state a mathematical axiom that 1/x can never be 0, so your statement is wrong
