DOOL: What Gabi did to Melanie, should she be jailed?

I think the best way for it to play out would be that she serve a little jail time. That way Will will get the baby at first. BUt that is not really the question.

I don't think jail is the right punishment for a lot of things they send people to jail for. She needs to have something more than her guilt as punishment though. I think Melanie *would* probably write a letter on Gabi's behalf. Maybe a few months in jail followed by a couple years community service out of a halfway house.

Nick shouldn't be an issue since they are so obviously setting him up to be killed.

Gabi's intentions don't matter. Her actions set crimes in motion. If someone drives a car for another to rob a store and the robber shoots someone then the driver is also responsible.

Let's not forget that there was a gas leak and explosion in the tunnels that could have been the fault of the kidnapper and thus due to the stalking & kidnapping. Several people were hurt and some died, Jack for one, as a result of the explosion.

She caused the death of several people and should at the very least do time for manslaughter. I imagine they will wait until Chad is with Abigail and then she will find out he knew too. Sorry, but if she was driving a get away car during a murder, she would probably do time as an accessory even if she ratted the other person out. She isn't rich enough or have anyone but Rafe to get a special deal for her. Ignorance of the law and the consequences of your actions are a really bad excuse. I know a whole lot of people who did time for a lot less than people dying.

Melanie should've told the cops because people died because of her. Gabi hired the stalker, those explosions down the tunnels happened, and Madison, Jack, and other people died too.

that was all on Gabi because she was desperate for attention and hired the stalker.

I am still waiting for the day for Abigail to find out that Gabi was the one who hired the stalker and that's why Jack is dead. I want Abigail to slap Gabi :D

I like Gabi, and don't want her to go to jail. She can be ostracized when the truth is revealed, but there's no real evidence. I blame what happened on those terrible writers, but I do think deep down she is a good person. No doubt what she did was wrong, though

I agree with that the explosions cannot be pinned on anyone, the gas leakage was happening and not caused by Gabi or Andrews actions; it just coincided with the crimes. At least that is the way I remember it.

Send Gabi up the river without a paddle, Gabi needs to pay, she is no angel, and take Nick up that river with her, can stand him, MAYBE her just being with Nick is her pay back, that works for me.

Gabi should pay, another crime that got swept under the carpet, I say throw her in jail and that creepy so called husband of hers, I am beginning to think they truly deserve each other.

I don't watch this show anymore but it's a soap and people on these shows don't suffer the same consequences that we do in real life. There's no resemblance to real life in these scenarios.
