If I lose my incapacity benefit will I lose my DLA too?

I am due for a Atos assessment soon and on Incapacity benefit and Dla.high rate of which I have a motorbility car, without which I can not get around. I have noticed most people who are assessed lose their benefit even if they are very poorly. I am just not sure if they just assess the Incapacity or Dla.

Any advice would be welcomed.

I had my ATOS assessment for incapacity last July and have been passed fit for work but of course i am not as with many or if not most they are trying to force sick people back to work,i too get higher rate of DLA and as of yet this has not been affected by the assessment for incapacity so your safe for now,

DLA is soon to be assessed too in the near future,if your on an indefinite then we are left until last but i can see many losing it as its how it has been so far for many sick people, like you if i lose my mobility of DLA then i am housebound too i would be lost,

but if your going for an assessment for incapacity then they cannot touch the DLA mobility rate as your being assessed for a different benefit the mobility assessment will be later on,does it say on your letter for which benefit your being assessed for?

if incapacity then no your mobility is ok,i lost my incapacity but continue to have the DLA well for now anyway but its true many sick and disabled people in the uk are suffering benefit loss now,i have a badly deformed broken spine(held together with metal) breathing problems, neck problems not to mention digestion issues too and cannot walk without crutches but for some reason am seen as "Fit for work"am appealing but they put sick people through so much stress,

but you wont lose your other benefit they are just going to assess you for your incapacity benefit for the time being, best of luck and if they say your fit for work and your not then appeal don't stand for it off them.
