Can you translate this to spanish? (another easy 10 points)?

I'm so bad at spanish, so here I am again...

I'm trying to say: My parents are divorced so we have not gone out together in 9 years.

I've got so far (is it correct?): Mis padres estan divorciados asi que....

    'Mis padres son divorciados' - I would use 'ser' in this case but 'estar' is also fine.

    The whole sentence would be "Mis padres son divorciados asi que hace 9 años que no salimos juntos.

    "My parents are divorced so we haven't gone out together for 9 years". It's best to use 'hace...que no' with these time expressions.

    mis padres estan divorciados y no emos salidos juntos en 9 anos. little squigly line over the n in anos but dont have the keyboard :(
