broke support legs on oven heating element?

dropped a small pyrex dish on theheating element of my oven. broke off the little support legs. can a solder them back or do I need to replace element. also what to do until I can fix properly.

husband currently very sick in hospital so he can't help

    No, you cannot solder it back together.

    The operating temperature of the element will melt the solder.

    As a temporary fix you could use a bolt the proper length to support the element, or possibly a stack of nuts or washers, just slide under the element, and try to get it repaired as soon as possible.
