White Rappers vs Black Rappers?
I listen to alot of different rappers both white & black. with the exception of a few black rappers i find that white rappers write better raps that more crafty & slick . But i feel like that black rappers have better beats but less lyric appeal . these are just my observations . what do you guys think?

Well for starters, this comes off as rather racist. But, if we'll ignore the racism aspect, then I'll delve into this with you:
Approaching from a racial standpoint, you have to look at the obvious. Your average black rapper came from the hood, your average white rapper comes from a bit more privilege. Your average black rapper dropped out of school, dealt with gangs, gun fights, and drugs. That's not conducive to mastery of the English language. Hell, factor in that they were raised in an area where most of the people spoke Ebonics.
White rappers primarily also came from rough lives, we all know about Eminem's upbringing, but we can probably assume that there were more opportunities than the average black one.
To start, I'll address the greats on either side. I'd say that the two best black lyricists are Nas and Andre 3000, the two best white lyricists are Eminem and Aesop Rock. Nas is the epitome of the black rapper. Intelligent and intense, he talks about life on the streets. Andre comes off more like a white guy, with remarkable word play and such. Eminem, meanwhile, probably has the most technical skill of any rapper ever, and Aesop Rock's lyricism is nothing if not unique. There are of course a ton of other examples for each side (well, really only Chris Webby and Atmosphere, maybe Brother Ali too are coming to mind for great white lyricists), but whatever. My point is, yes, I'd say the greatest white rappers have more technical skill than the greatest black ones. On the other hand, the black ones offer a first hand, passionate look at the streets where they grew up, which is at the foundation of hip hop.
On the subject of beats, that's a bit iffy. Most rappers don't also produce their own beats, with plenty of exceptions like Kanye and Hopsin and J Cole. There's the issue of flow, which I think would be heavily negotiable in either direction.
But ultimately, I don't like segregating rappers based on color. There are a lot of much more relevant factors to take into consideration.
Edit: Yelawolf, someone mentioned him. Good call, he also comes to mind for the white guys.
And whoever said Slaughterhouse down there at the bottom, all the members of Slaughterhouse are black.

It sounds like you listen to a certain type of white and black rappers. Check out Seth Greenz he's one of the best upcoming white rappers. Young guy raps over sick beats and has a really lyrical gangsta style. Follow this guy on twitter @sethgreenz. Some other great white rappers are Action Bronson, Eminem, and Riff Raff. The best black rappers are Young Scooter, Future, Gucci Mane, and Freddie Gibbs.

If there were no black rappers then there would be no white rappers, so black.
Honestly it's a tie though because you have white rappers who are just as bad as black rappers they try to imitate, on the other hand you have intellectual white rappers and street smart blacks. Race has no color, for me however I could care less what color a rapper is to be honest.

well im guessing you only listen to new mainstream hip hop to get that analysis. the mosty lyrical and best rappers are latin big pun immortal technique beast 1333 chino xl and nino bless ae some of the best ever as for black you got all of bone aall of wu nas canibus rakim krs1 black thought q-tip ice cube scareface dmx jay-z joey Bada$$ kendrick lamar busta rhymes kool g rap just tons of lyrical assains aswell and white rappers like eminem acxtion bronson vinny paz slaine and aesop rock and others are lyical savages too its just harder to be an untaled not black rapper or asian i mean jins the only asian. and btw most rappers dont make there own beats producers do so thats not a factor in whos a better rapper the beats are a whole are part of hip hop but there are a few guys out there like kanye west dr dre and rza who are legendary producers and pretty good rappers too

I think all rappers' lyrics are written by the same 10 or 15 elderly industry songwriters and rap has been a meaningless genre since about 2001.

I'm white but find that I actually prefer black rappers but am more attracted to girls of my own race. Why this is I don't know. But just is.

Eminem is at the top..... I don't know about drake is he a black or white rapper ( he is a cross between a african and a jew ) but I like him, but people like black rappers like Nas, tupac. Biggie smalls, easy E etc but also hate black rappers like lil wayne, lil boosie, soulja boy, waka flocka flame etc... I agree with you... But because there are only few white rappers... I've to go with black rappers....
