Well where is the polynomial for me to substitute into?

    Let's say its:

    x^2 - 3x + 4

    In that case, you'd get

    1) -1^2 - 3(-1) + 4(-1)

    1 + 3 - 4

    0

    2) 4^2 - 3(4) + 4(4)

    16 - 12 + 16

    20

    3) (1/2)^2 - 3(1/2) + 4(1/2)

    1/4 - 3/2 + 2

    1/4 - 6/4 + 8/4

    3/4

    Hope that helped!
