N.Korea vs U.S.A - Can't Obama just phone up Kim Jong over a cup of coffee and tell him to **** right off?
All of these N.K videos, and media coverage make it almost seem like (in some respects) a "twitter beef" we have both sides sending subliminal messages back and forth back and forth... isn't this what we invented skype for. Phone up north korea and tell them where to go. shouldnt be tooo hard.

not hard, not especially effective either. the US just signed a new military agreement with South Korea that might help a bit, or might push them over the edge, depending on whether you believe Kim is really Yosemite Sam or merely pretending.

It might be that would be a bad idea because that would put them on equal footing, thus legitimize their message. Besides, they could simply hang up. Do we really want them to have the upper hand on anything?
You might not like Obama, but if N. Korea did anything to the US you can rest assured that Obama has the testicular fortitude to respond by making a parking lot out of North Korea.

I think it is funny that Republicans proudly wore the hatred of North Korea for the USA as a badge of honor, yet now they are trying to claim North Korea hates the USA because of Obama.
