Tiny little ants in my kitchen after water. How to get rid of them?
Microscopic ants. Hundreds of them in my clothes iron. A blast of steam and out shoots a hundred little carcasses. I have tried Smart Sprays and Cayenne Pepper Powder. Drops of liquid repellants. Trying to dry the kitchen sink in the evenings. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like you have "sugar" ants or "piss" ants. An old time remedy is to leave cucumber peelings out on your kitchen counter. For some reason these ants don't like to be around the peelings. Be sure to leave your iron on the counter also.

I recommend Terro liquid ant bait over anything else. Every spring we get an infestation of ants in the house. Terro is the only thing that reliably kills them off. I keep a spray bottle filled with a 50/50 mix of water and dishwashing liquid. This will kill ants on the spot.
