Don't really like it. It should probably stay a plant name, haha.

It sounds like a concert hall or something in Houston. I picture it as a place with a giant white dome...then you see an overweight chick crammed into a pair of iridescent white stretch pants, and giggle to your friend, "Her @$$ looks like the Houstonia!" It would be ridiculously terrible as a name.

A for effort? Not even. Sounds like a name form the stone age, worse than some of the made up ethnic names I have heard.

I would think the city probably meant something special to her parents and I would wonder if she loved her name or hated it. It could go either way.

I don't like it. I like the male name Houston, but Houstonia just sounds like a bad attempt at feminizing it.

I really don't like it at all. It sounds too unnatural and forced....like a made up name from some random city. Not a pretty name at all. Sorry. :)

I dont go for any of the texas names - dallas or austin - but this is the worst.
