Since homeostasis is keeping the body in a constant state of balance, the systems of the body work together to make this happen not just the 2 you mention. For example, the respiratory system provides the oxygen that our cells need, the digestive system provides the food that our cells need and the circulatory system has the blood that carries the food and oxygen to all of our cells. Oxygen gets into the blood stream via the capillaries that line the alveoli (air sacs) at the end of the lungs and digested food gets into the blood stream via the capillaries that line the villi in the small intestines.
