Your favorite NBA team, and why?

Golden State Warriors, been a fan of them since 1996 (I'm 21) I guess when you're little you really don't understand why you like a team if it's not for their colors or logo. But they somehow grew on me over time though by getting older I realized how pathetic of a team we were. Looking good this year though

Sacramento Kings, because we have an awesome fan base, awesome Mayor Kevin Johnson and will soon have a great team ownership group with a brand new arena. Our fans really care about the Sacramento Kings no matter if they play great or not!

P.S. Ryan, I know Seattle deserves a team, but let me be perfectly clear that it will not be the Sacramento Kings. I wish you guys the best and hope the Sonics will be back sometime in the future.

Yes Ryan I am enjoying my team and will enjoy watching them for years to come. Chris Hansen will bring back the Sonics but it will not be the Sacramento Kings who will fill in.

Also if you are talking about the 7% of Bob Cook's share of the team that Hansen bought from the bankruptcy auction, than here is some additional info. The 21 local Sacramento investors who will be bidding on the share have 15 days to outbid Hansen, which they will do. Finally the NBA board of governors will need to approve any sale, so just because he has a deal to buy a % share in the team does not mean the NBA board will approve it, sorry.

    Go KJ!!!

The Washington Wizards. Growing up (Im 21) i was obviously a Bulls fan, i think every kid was, we all admired Jordan's work. When Mike left in 98' i grew uninterested in the team so i only watched local games and all that was on TV were the Wizards, i live in the DC area. So when MJ came back to MY Wizards i was that much more a fan, we've had some rough years but im still a fan til death. Same for my Redskins.

I'm a warriors fan as well I only started watching the NBA 2 years ago. I root for them simply, because I'm a Bay Area native and root for all the local teams ( sharks, giants, 49ers, GSW ).

When i was younger i would pick my favorite player. Of course Jordan was my first favorite, then it was Kobe. Im 20 now and ive stuck with kobe and the lakers and have gone back and watched games in the past. Big fan of magic johnson too, and the whole showtime era. A team wouldnt be anything of course without its players, so if kobe wasnt on the lakers i probably wouldnt be a lakers fan. Now that im older i dont see myself switching and definitely wont be bandwagoning. Im a big fan of kyrie and paul george hopefully one will become a laker but thats wishful thinking haha but 2014 is a big year for lakers. I live near charlotte so my second team are the bobs haha. All in all im just a huge fan of basketball and love to watch all the teams playing and seeing good games being played. Now if we got russell westbrook on the lakers ever then my time as a laker would be over lol but thats another story. Oh and my Lakers arent forgetting the lost yall gave us monday, so put a L on your calender for april 12th bro.

    Thunder

They built up the team from drafting rookie. Not just trade some all - star to their team or joining some Big 3. Their build - up process are long and it's time to get some reward.

Detroit Pistons, I've just always been a fan of Rip Hamilton. His play on the Pistons, is what did it for me. Even though he's with the Bulls now, I enjoy the feel of Pistons' games better than any.
