R&P: what's an artist/band you have been infatuated with recently?

for me it's Deerhunter. I listened to Halcyon Digest a while back, but for some reason it just hit me right in the feels a week or two again. Since then I have been listening to everything they have made.

Especially this song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mBSOtdOjoc

BQ: If 80% of the human population suddenly disappeared, what do you think would change the most?

BQ2: What is the worst thing you have or saw someone accidentally post on Facebook (don't use real names)?

MQ: What's the best band you've seen perform live?

Update:

edit: I don't see the needless td's, so I went ahead and upvoted everyone.

I had a Deerhunter phase like two weeks ago lol weird. it was mostly Bradford's solo stuff though.

and Desire Lines is my favorite song by them ahhh <3 <3

and did you know they're releasing an album in May? sick eh

but right now I really love Guided by Voices and Johnny Cash

bq: I saw that on reddit. I think we'd be more peaceful, cus idk people would be mourning about everything and contemplating what life is about etc etc also everyone would have to work a lot harder to sustain society and the economy. I think we'd be like hard-working hippies basically

  • I fell into a Bob Dylan thing recently. It's gone now.

Bq: I'd probably have a better chance with that nice young man that has the most beautiful long curly hair ever and plays the tenors. I'd also probably make state. Woo!

Bq2: They've all been intentional, but no less scarring.

Mq: Oh, money? You have that? Cool.

I've listened to Billy Talent pretty much non-stop the past 3 days. I'd known them for a while, but i finally decided to properly look them. listened through all their albums in one day.

bq- i think people's attitudes towards each other would change the most- intelligence and knowledge would be valued and people would work together instead of against each other (unlike todays society)

    bq2- i don't actually use facebook so i wouldn't know

    mq- definitely enter shikari :)

    Night Manager

I just recently found them, and can't stop listening to them. It's a real shame that they had to break up so soon I would have really looked forward to a tour or new album release.

BQ:a roller coaster wouldn't take an hour to get on

BQ2: couldn't tell you, I got rid of it a long time ago

    MQ: Tame Impala

Lol at first I thought you meant The Dear Hunter I had to reread this a few times.

For me, it's Closure in Moscow. They sound so similar to the Mars Volta, but still retain their own sound.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqYAF_nDP2E

    "Vanguard" by Closure in Moscow

BQ: We would have to work together and value intelligence rather than the idiotic **** people seem to be obsessed with today.

BQ2: The hicks posting Obama and gun control rants 24/7. I want to punch them in the face.

YQ: Nevermore. Most spot on live show I've ever seen. As perfect as the studio, but they still had the Live feel and energy so it didn't just sound like rehearsal.
