What kind of lizard should I get?

I want to get a new lizard. I already have a Leopard Gecko and I want something different. I want something fairly easy to take care of because I'm a beginner with reptiles. I have done a lot of research on what type of lizard I should get, but I'm still not sure. I want something that can fit in a 10 - 15 gallon tank comfortably. I also want something that won't be very aggressive. Please give me ideas!

Though I agree with the amazingness of the bearded dragon they need more than double the space you would like your new pet to take up.

Most other reptiles will be slightly more difficult to keep only because they require 1 extra light that a leopard gecko doesn't need. It is called UVB and for day time basking lizards can not be skipped, it helps with digestion and absorption of calcium. Other than that, besides some differences there really isn't much more to them. Giving that you go with a desert/basking reptile.

You could do a really cool anole tank, though they are not exactly hand able. Long tail lizards are absolutely gorgeous to look at.

There is a smaller version of the bearded dragon (their cousin) that can live in a 15 gallon tank fairly well, the are called the Rankin Dragon. They get about a foot long.

You can also look at Sandfish Skinks, a little harder to come by but absolutely amazing. They live in sand and swim like fish in it. They require 3-5 inches of sand, a water dish, the basking and UVB and only about 4 crickets 2-3 times a week. And they are super cute.

This site has a lot of lizards listed in their sales, which is a great way to give you some ideas to look up and see if you'd enjoy that particular lizard.

Bearded dragons are a pretty cool lizard to get, I had a young one. But they grow pretty big, mine wasn't that aggressive only bit me once, but it doesn't hurt whatsoever. Research them first! But I sold him a couple years ago
