FRANZ LISZT, “the Paganini of the piano," was a Hungarian, and the possessor of marvelous musical gifts. His career was a perpetual series of triumphs throughout the capitals of the world. He was also an industrious original contributor to musical literature.

After a thorough examination of the Liszt piano, I concluded that the head of the firm had in no way overstepped the mark. The pianos are all he claims for them.

Yes there is an obscure piano make 'Liszt' but, at present, any detail on the maker available online I've been able to locate so far is blocked by pay-walls. If you can muster the patience, see if any of us here who happen to have a piano bluebook to hand might still come along? They will likely be able to give you any low-down available from that source.
