How do I delete an excel spreadsheet?

How do I delete an Excel Spreadsheet? Not just the contents I want to delte the whole thing. Thanks

The spreadsheet is empty but they are still listed on the left side of the page as being there. I also want them gone. Help. This is a work computer and there are some things I need to get rid of.

    Right-click on the sheet tab (bottom of the screen, probably says "Sheet 1") and pick Delete.

    If you want to delete the whole workbook, find where it is saved (go to properties and advanced properties if you don't remember where you saved it. Then delete it from there by clicking the file and hitting delete.

    Hi, Just right click the sheet and click delete. It is easy. You will find the sheet tab in the left bottom. Select the sheet, by moving the cursor to it, and right click and select delete. Select yes to the warning message that all data will be lost.
