When I was 15 I had the exact same problem. My period cramps were soo bad I'd miss school. I had irregular periods too so they happened twice as often. It was completely horrible.
So I went to my doctor and they suggested I see an OBGYN. So I saw one and they recommended some form of birth control.
Now I hate the name "birth control," because it's very misleading. Birth control medications are used for so much more than preventing pregnancy, for example in my case birth control manages my period and it's symptoms in a way my body could not. I'm healthier thanks to birth control.
There's all different kinds of birth control, and you're actually at a good age to start birth control too.
Here's a great site that goes through 12 different birth control options so you can educate yourself about what kind of options are out there, so you can get an idea of what might work for you.

Then I suggest you talk to your parents about seeing a gynecologist or an OBGYN, because if your symptoms are so severe that your missing school that is NOT normal so you clearly have a medical need to see one. A gynecologist can prescribe a birth control for you that will suit your needs.
It's important to describe your symptoms and experiences with your period as accurately as you can, so I advice that you write done everything that you typically experience with your period before you go to make sure that they get all of the information they need to find a prescription option that best suits your needs.
Hope this was helpful. Good Luck!

I used to have the same problem. I would throw up and pass out from the pain. I would miss 3 or 4 days of school every time. I am now on birth control and it is soo much better. I don't have cramps at all, and the ones that I do get go away with advil. Im not throwing up and my periods are lighter and shorter too.
