Click on your current avatar then click edit my preferences to the right of your avatar click update photo . Follow the prompts to upload it from your pc...
Ensure your profile is not set as private. After uploading your picture. select it then press "use selected"/

You click:
My Activity -> Edit my preferences -> Update photo -> Add photo
And then you select the photo you want to upload
After the upload, you select it and then click "Use selected"
