No Guerrero hasn't caught the Mayweather bug. Mayweather went to jail for multiple counts of domestic violence. He plead to lesser charges because he was facing 31 years in prison if he had been prosecuted aggressively.

Guerrero, though really stupid for not checking the laws concerning firearms that differ in every State of the Union, is caught up in the gun control political war. Guerrero had traveled in 3 different states in the same manner in which he arrived in New York. He had boarded the plane in California (one of the states with very strict laws), had gone to Nevada, disembarked and got back on the plane with the same set up, then went to Virginia with the exact same firearm and magazines in the same locked container in his checked baggage. Each time, notifying the airline that he had the firearm as per protocol. Then he got to New York and all of a sudden that empty and inoperable firearm and those empty magazines in that locked container became "unlicensed" concealed firearms and felonious possession of high capacity magazines.

Again, stupid for not checking. Stupid because it is so close to a fight in which he needs to be totally focused. Just stupid. But NO, not the same, at all as someone who has habitually gotten into fights with his partners and hangs around with an entourage that gets into trouble.

I doubt it. If it was Mayweather who got caught with a gun then it probably would. Guererro isn't a big enough name for a fight to be called off

The fight itself will be fine. Guerrero's next court date isn't until like two weeks after the fight, so there's no way it gets cancelled or anything like that.

It's definitely a mindf*ck for Guerrero though. He's going into the biggest fight of his life, and he's in deep sh*t now after pulling that idiotic move.

Can't feel good having all of that on his mind right now.
