The only chance Johansson would have against Marciano would be to outbox him and I just don't believe he has enough lateral movement and speed to do it and of course forget about outslugging him either. I see Marciano working his way inside and administering a terriffic beating to the head and body of Johansson. The Swede would land some good shots here and there but Marciano would be able to take his best. At the most, I see this fight going maybe 7 rounds with the referee pulling Marciano off of a helpless Johansson.

Rocky Marciano is widely considered an all time great overcoming overwheling odds, having a short reach, undersized, and starting at an advanced age for fighters. He overcame all of these things by dedication and hard work, listening to his trainers and using a crouching style and an underrated defense along with pulverizing power in either hand to overwhelm or outlast his opponents. In round 3 Johansson would land a good right hand but Marciano would work his way inside and deliver a bone crunching right hand sending Johansson down for a short count. The bell would sound to save Johansson from futher punishment. In rounds 4-6 Johansson would atempt to box Marciano who is patiently looking for another opening and as usual is the agressor. In round 7 Marciano sends Johansson down again and this time with a short left hook after a body attack. Johansson would get up but would be battered along the ropes as the referee mercifully steps in.

Rocky Marciano would demolish Ingemar Johanssen. This would be a mismatch. Rocky hit too hard for the soft chinned Swede. Rocky would take Ingo out in 3 or 4 rounds with the greatest of ease.Rocky would be as always well conditioned and ready too go 15 rounds. This time however he would not need too go the distance cause he ends it early with one Suzie-Q.

Rock would have KOed Ingo at any time during either of their primes, Marciano was simply too much for Johanssen, it would have been interesting for a couple rounds but Marciano's pressure would get to Johanssen mid fight. Marciano by KO inside 8 rounds.

Johanssen only had a big right hand that could be avoided if you paid attention.

Marciano would knock out Johanssen as did Patterson in their rematch.
