I broke my wrist and play baseball?
I play baseball. I broke my wrist a few weeks ago now my cast comes off on 4/17/13 but my season starts 4/28/13. My question is can I still play right away

Sorry to have to tell you this, but I can see from looking at your x-rays and thoroughly examining your wrist that you will not be able to play right away when we remove your cast. My guess is that the best case scenario would be for you to resume "baseball activity" somewhere around Memorial Day with the hope that you would be healed well enough to play sometime around mid-June.

I broke my thumb years ago, it took 6 weeks to get the cast off, and after that I had extreme, extreme weakness throughout my wrist to my thumb.
Since you have broken your wrist, you will likely have extreme weakness in your wrist to your elbow and down to your finger tips.
You can still play, however, it's likely you will be very weak in whatever arm you broke your wrist in. If you are a pitcher and throw right-handed, and broke your left, you'll be find. But if your a batter, you're in trouble.
The safest thing you could do is take the DL like a man, telling your coach you need at least another month to get your wrist back into shape. Don't risk it and ruin your career for good just to rush teh season.
