Why are men are on the take?
I have been talking with a man on line, I know red flag already, but it was just conversation and sharing thought of like dislikes, things of that nature, the conversation stated getting more serious of maybe take the chance and meeting and take it from there, now out of the blue he has ask me for money, on a business venture why is it always money, why can't men be straight forward rather than these hurtful tactics, always wanting money and then playing the poor me scam. Now I am a older women and I guess these think because I am older just a average person I should be so grateful any man pays some attention I should pay for it, What the hell is up with this, what is wrong with men always on the take it is far so hurtful and then they wonder why women get bitter and distrusting.

He's a scammer. He's on there solely for the purpose of scamming people, so stop attributing that type of behaviour to "men" in general. There are good men out there - you just need to value yourself enough in order to meet men who aren't going to use you.
Remember: we teach people how to treat us. If you act like a doormat, you will be treated like one. Grow a backbone, tell yourself that you're worthy of a loving, healthy relationship, and don't stop doing that until you find someone worthwhile.
Now go get'em, tigress!

You're dealing with losers from where ever. Get away from where ever you've been. Find different places to meet men where there is some decent people and if you find that they start hitting you up for cash move on. You want to talk about distrusting, you don't have any idea how many times men have been shook down by low class skanks. Men just don't talk about it, they just move on.

because some women will give them money, so they think they can scam the others they come in contact with. some men are honest and would never ask for a dime, but then there are scammers who pretend to be interested in you but they aren't, they just want to beat you out of your hard earned money.

Sounds like it could be my stbx. If so, do not lend him any money because you will never see it again. If he visits, hide all medications before he arrives. Also, do not take your eye off of him or he will find something to steal.
