There are thousands of hotels in Mexico City. If you want to be near downtown or the trendy areas near downtown town you could try Hotel Stanza on Álvaro Obregón in Colonia Roma around $60-$70 US per night or Posada Viena on Marsella and Dinamarca in Colonia Juárez which is about 10-15 dollars less.
It's approximately 250 miles to either the Gulf coast or the Pacific coast from Mexico City. If you like partying I recommend Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta or Puerto Escondido on the Pacific. Many people like the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo area. Ixtapa is a resort and Zihuatanejo is a small town. If you like a quiet beach experience try Playa Azul in MIchoacán. Puerto Escondido offers ecotourism, nude and topless beaches and world class surfing. I can't recommend Acapulco to anyone as it is SO extremely dangerous now.

Mexico City is just a exciting capital that beguiles its guests with countless possibilities therefore pick the most effective alternative with hotelbye . Mexico City is one of the greatest downtown parts on earth, with 16 boroughs and a lot more than 300 neighbourhoods. Many of the most visited tourist attractions in Mexico City are focused in the Historic Centre, like the Plaza de la Constitucion or Zocalo, the National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, Templo Mayor, Palace of Fine Arts and Alameda Park. Several blocks north of the Palace of Fine Arts, Plaza Garibaldi is one of the finest places in Mexico City to listen to live mariachi music.

Just right locations to visit: Coyoacán: artsy village in south Mexico city; you can consult with Frida Kahlo's house... Xochimilco: Mexico's "Venice"; for a few bucks that you can take a raft up and down a couple of picturesque canals. Polanco: Upscale nearby in north-critical Mexico metropolis; on Masaryk Ave. One can find boutiques for the entire luxurious objects you might have ever dreamed of... Condesa: Hip local in primary Mexico metropolis, stuffed with streetside cafes and bars. Centro Histórico: "Downtown" Mexico metropolis; discuss with the "Zocalo" and stroll by means of the various museums and colonial buildings there. Chapultepec: Mexico metropolis's "important Park"; be definite to consult with the Anthropology Museum there. San Ángel: Pictureseque village in the south of the city; go on a Saturday morning and you'll discover a pretty cool arts & crafts bazaar. The first-class accommodations are placed in Polanco, more often than not on "Campos Elíseos" road; these accommodations are particularly first-class and have an nice region; among the first-rate accommodations are hotel Nikko and the J.W. Marriot, along with the W motel. These resorts, on the other hand, are relatively expensive (250-300 bucks a night); if you are watching for something somewhat cheaper, that you may keep at some of the many excursion hotels or Fiesta inns in the metropolis; if you wish to have one with a excellent place, prefer to stay in the "Zona Rosa", "Chapultepec" or "Polanco" branches.
