Do I need a CDL for my work truck?
I drive a old Ford F-350 stake bed with a dually. It is owned and insured as a commercial vehicle. A guy stopped last week and that the law changed and now need a CDL to drive a Dually in Ohio. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

would have to check with your dmv. but if its under 26.001 pounds you don't need a cdl

If it is over 26001 lbs,has airbrakes, placarded or has a tank. A stake truck does not need it. CDL laws are pretty much the same in all states. But I would check with the DMV or state patrol.

check with the dmv. here as long as your pulling under or carrying under a certain weight, you just need the physical. if you are over weight, you need a cdl.
