Is the U.S provoking a war between N. and S. Korea?

N.Korea is behaving very irrationally wanting to start a war with America and S.Korea. We all know this day will come, because the korean war has never officially ended. However, The U.S is even claiming that China is behind this, but let's think about it, China's economy is blossoming at the moment, Is it really their best interest to go to war and mess up everything so they have to start over again?

Is the U.S very urge to start a WAR in Asia? Because of the U.S economy is currently in crisis, Wouldn't they benefit from invading China or the entire Asia?

If N.korea do start a War with the U.S and South Korea, What is the chance to begin a WWIII? Would it eventually involve China and Japan, as well as Russia and other small Asian countries? and this feels like is going to be the U.S's advantage again..... Or even benefit Europe....

Update:

If anyone answered the U.S never provoked or not their best interest to go to War with China/Asia, where have you been n the last 5 years??? Read the news.

for anyone who was not familiar with the Korean war, please check with wikipedia... There was no North.South korea before 1950s....

The North Korean government is fanatical and the oppression they have leveled on their people is an atrocity.

For decades the North Koreans have been provoking the South with tunnels, raids, shootings, threats, anything and everything you can imagine. In the 1970's, an American was hacked to death by North Koreans on camera while trimming a tree on the DMZ. The tunnels were excavated under the DMZ leading into the south, and were large enough for tanks and mechanized artillery to drive through.

America has done an admirable job avoiding another war with North Korea. The US has absolutely nothing to gain by wars in Asia and neither would Europe. It would be a disaster in every sense. China and America are major trade partners.

The North Koreans are making very deliberate threats of a nuclear strike on American cities and America is being provocative? Get real.

PS: We are all very aware that North and South Korea have been in a state of war since the ceasefire in 1953. Don't be so condescending and presumptuous.

In view that N. Korea won't go to struggle over it. However in point of fact that if we don't go by way of with flawlessly authorized drills over a threat from N. Korea, it sets the expectation that we are vulnerable and that their "exhibit of drive" is amazing. We not simplest ought to go forth with the drills, but we also have got to put forth a proclamation that if N. Korea bombs any part of S. Korea again, the supply of the bombs will now not exist as S. Korea will bomb the crap out of it with the backing of the united states. As for China, which you're going to without doubt bring up, China has constantly pushed again N. Korea after they have been aggressors and the us was once on the verge of attack. They will now not stand against us for N. Korea when N. Korea is being so provocative. It's not of their nice curiosity. Added: first-rate name genius, it is not the U.S. Who's acting like they need to return to negotiations, the action with the aid of N.Okay. Is obviously an act to get the U.S. Back to the negotiations in order to extort more money from us. We have now appeased and purchased them off a few times, so they are going for more cash. How much would you need to give them? How on the whole do you suppose that we must cower when they flex their puny muscle tissues?

I believe the main reason that the Korean peninsula is always on the brink of a war is because

the North has no desire to reform and have taken to nuclear black mail and extortion which has been known to work.

The US and others have given North Korea aid over the years when they started acting up

    here is an example

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/feb/29/north-...

we should not give North Korea any aid as all it does is prop the Ponying regime which would collapse on its own.

If the North Korean want help from the international community then they should open their boarders to NGO's and trade.

I personally don't think there will be another war. America spent 3 billion dollars in Iraq. Just imagine how much it would cost to start a war with DPRK. We wont do anything untill they do something to us.

And imagine the destruction of Asia. American Air Force and our allies Air Force would just destroy them. Compared to us they are living in the stone ages. If there were to be a war it would most likely be a nuclear war. Not now. I would say in about 5 years they will have a strong arsenal of ballistic missiles and other nuclear weapons. The only thing we have to worry about is if China gets involved and take North Korea's side. Because someone will step up to bat to help them. You are right though Chine does need a war to get them blossoming. But yes if all out war starts with them it will definetly be WW3. And to top it all off i think America should bring the draft back lol

    Lets get your point right:

    - NK. does not want to start a war with America.. It didn't want it in the last 60 years.. and nothing has changed right now. That young apprentice dictator wants to stay in power for long time .. like Daddy did.

    - And no .. we "don't all know this"...

    - US is claiming that China is behind this ? Really ? Haven't heard that.. Evidence ?

    - No, it's not in China's interest to go to war.. China wants a stable NK to act as a buffer zone from US influence.. and certainly doesn't want to have long-term American troops on its border.

    - US wants a war: Again, there's no indication that the US has been more provocative than NK.. The opposite is rather true. Example: The US have not announced the permanent deployment of any nuclear-capable offensive weapons. The US is still keeping the door open for the 6 party talks.. Does that sound like the US want a war (like it did with the 2nd Iraq war ?)

    - WW3 ? With whom ? Do you know the meaning of a world war ? Any conflict with NK is most likely to be very short in duration given the massive firepower that the US and SK have deployed. Why would any other country get involved in this mess ? There's absolutely nothing to gain !

The u.s can provoke all they like because even if North Korea's missiles could reach u.s cities there impact zone would be very small and not many people would die relative to what would happen if the U.S bombed North korea. North korea are all talk and they wont take any action. it is just an attempt by the new ruler to scare his people so that any doubters become loyal to him.

Why are people so ignorant? It is not as if we don't go through this every single year when North Korea does its "lets see what we can extort from the west in food, cash and goods by threatening war" routine.

In South Korea this stuff doesn't even cause people to blink anymore but every March/April ignorant westerners go all apesh!t and think global nuclear war is right round the corner. How many times do you people need to get suckered to figure this out?

All it takes is one dumb *** with an itchy finger. Either N Korea is going to make it look like we attack or vica versa. Watch the movie Dr. Strangelove. Its not too far off the truth. I just say be ready for it. all it takes is a little civil unrest, leads to martial law leads to UN occupying our streets to "keep Peace".

There sure are a lot of Dumb ignorant postings...here...

None of which explain that a "State Of War" between

    NK and SK/UN since 1950...

It started when NK invaded SK...

Strongly suggest that you read the REAL History of the Conflict...

No. N. Korea is just blustering as usual. The kid is worried about staying in powere and using this as a way to show his manliness.
