Hey, I'm planning on joining the military when I'm older. I'm 13. I have been working out for a year now and my workouts have consisted of running (most I've done is 3 miles without stopping) and going to the gym 2 times a week at my local military base. I work every part on my body (chest, shoulders, back, tries, bies, abs, legs) and I do Ruck runs with 2 8 pound weights in the pack. I'm getting bored with what I'm doing and I'm looking to get into shape faster. I'm very big for my age 6"1" 204 pounds and in decent shape. I want to start doing marine work outs though. But I go on the sights and they are all for mostly adults. It would be awesome if you could put an answer with some good workouts for a 13 year old. Consider my size and weight. Please no criticizing about me wanting to be in the military at such a young age. That's all i get anywhere as it would be nice to get some support. Please leave you suggestions. I do push ups and sit ups but have trouble with pull ups. So please leave a good answer.

The Korean was was a conventional war, and the Iraq war was an insurgency. What would this war be. Would it be a mechanized infantry with units and battalions and company's or Just random people shooting at you with no uniform?

I'm a jr in high school and want to be an officer in th marines. When do you go to boot camp when you are in nrotc? Is it a different boot camp or is it at Paris island and California?

I know it is impossible to really answer this question but I want your opinions. I have already done research about this topic but it isn't really up to date. In my opinion the world is getting pretty peaceful with the exceptions of Syria and Egypt and other civil wars that we don't know about. But america is leaving Afghanistan, it isn't really bad in Korea right now. There really are no signs for a war for america anytime soon. Do you agree? Do you think there will be any wars in America's future (5-10 years?) I am a wannabe marine hope to enlist after I finish college so as immature as It sounds I want to get in the ****. Lets not be children and get all butt hurt about that comment. It's been my dream ever since I've read helmet for my pillow by Robert leckie. But do you think america has any wars in the near future?

Sunday night I started to feel a pain in my groin area. To be specific my sack. It feel kind of like I've been kicked in the balls but not as bad at all, it kinda feels annoying. It only hurts when I walk, move funny, hit it by accident, or think about it. It's not a hernia I don't think because there is no bump there and don't really have any symptoms. I think it might be a pulled muscle. I having lifted anything heavy lately, the only thing I can think of is I rode my bike all day on Thursday. And I think I might have pulled my balls sack or something. If you know what could possibly be wrong answer.

I just saw that Barrack Obama is considering using military force in Syria to end the Syrian civil war and get Assad out of office. I know that if we did this we would either have to negotiate with Russia or fight them. They already announced that if America invades Syria that they are "prepared for victory." So do you think it is time to do something, or keep watching them blow each other up. Keep in mind there have already been more that 100,000 casualties in this civil war

My grandpa was a green beret from 1967 to 1979. I just wanted to know how different they were physicaly and mentally. Was it easier or harder? Or just compleatly different.

Are we leaving Afghanistan any time soon? In my opinion this war has gone on way to long. If we are do you think we will get into another war? If so what country do you think is the biggest threat right now to the U.S. Serious answers please. Its just a question.

This is a follow up question for the previous one I posted. I either exaggerated it a little to much or the people who answered didnt understand. I have minor headaches USUALLY once a week. They only last for about 2 hours at the MOST. I want to be a Marine and i was wondering what would happen. I just take regular Advil and and headache medicine. NOT prescribed. I dont take any other medication other than what i just said. All the headache medicine is, is Tylenol. And also im sorry for putting migraine in my previous question. My headaches go away by time. And my doctor told me it is sinus. So take this in consideration that i want to enlist in the marines and i was wondering because they do a lot of PT. I cant get out of bed and stuff. I was exaggerating. I actually sometimes run with one if not that after they go away. Sorry for the misunderstanding. And i hope this makes more sense.

I have a problem with migraines. I always get a migraine once a week. I have my whole life. I went to the doctors and he just said that I have sinus problems and just take headach Medicean when I get them. They only last half the day usually or a couple of hours. But I'm planing on joining the marines. What will happen if I have a headach during boot camp every week. Will I get kicked out? Or should I just suck it up. Sometimes my headachs are so bad that I don't even want to leave my bed. What do I do? No stupid answers. I know it's a stupid question but I want to know because I know marines do a lot of PT during boot. People with this same problem please answer.

I want to be an officer and eventually go pararescue. I live in new york near buffalo. What are some colleges that i could possible look at and my other question is, is it harder becoming a PJ if your an officer?

I've been thinking about different jobs in the military. My main focuses are marines or army. My choices are in the marines are infantry or PMO. And in the army, I want to go either airborne or air assault. And hopefully if I go air assault get into the 101st. So does anyone have any tips for me on what to pick? And also out of the army jobs that I put down who sees more combat? Airborne or air assault (101st airborne)

I'm in civil air patrol but where I'm going to HS has Air Force jrotc. Do they where acu Abu or bdus or just blues?

What do they do everyday? Do they PT a lot. What do they do when they arnt preparing for deployment?

I don't want to be this I just can't fine anything about it on the Internet. Can someone just explain what they do. Are they special force or what?
