MINOR headach and military basic training?
This is a follow up question for the previous one I posted. I either exaggerated it a little to much or the people who answered didnt understand. I have minor headaches USUALLY once a week. They only last for about 2 hours at the MOST. I want to be a Marine and i was wondering what would happen. I just take regular Advil and and headache medicine. NOT prescribed. I dont take any other medication other than what i just said. All the headache medicine is, is Tylenol. And also im sorry for putting migraine in my previous question. My headaches go away by time. And my doctor told me it is sinus. So take this in consideration that i want to enlist in the marines and i was wondering because they do a lot of PT. I cant get out of bed and stuff. I was exaggerating. I actually sometimes run with one if not that after they go away. Sorry for the misunderstanding. And i hope this makes more sense.
Thanks

There's a BIG difference between a sinus headache and a migraine.
As long as you can concentrate while being screamed at by three people telling you three different things while running in place, you should be ok.

In the below question YOU said that you have HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE and are underweight.
If you actually have HBP and it's past a certain point, you AREN'T going to be joining ANY US military service. It's DQ.
If you are underweight past a certain point based on your sex and height it will be a DQ until you bring your weight up.
The US military doesn't need anybody who can't tell a straight story the first time. You'll be found out within a week.
AND, if you want to be a US MARINE, get rid of that USAF logo. It's an INSULT to the USMC.

Quoting the regulation: "History of recurrent headaches (784.0), including, but not limited to, migraines (346) and tension headaches (307.81) that interfere with normal function in the past 3 years, or of such severity to require prescription medications, do not meet the standard."
Only you know whether you meet the qualifications or not. If these headaches cause you to stop what you normally do, you are disqualified.
