I suspect that physical training of navy seals or army special forces are equally rigorous
I suspect that the "mind set" of the individual would be what would cause a person to
say which unit if mentally "harder"
It is safe to say that you would be "tested" by which ever group you might wish to join.

Both are hard as hell Physically SEAL mentally like how smart SF. but mentally tough both go through the hardest training

Army SF for both by far.
Although SEALs do have more books and movies out...hmmm
