AMD cpus, would it be worth it?
to upgrade from an AMD FX-4100 to an FX-6300? I have 800w psu and a motherbaord with the right socket number. Also have a Radeon 7870 2GB video card. When looking at Youtube videos or similar would it improve the loading time? I build my own pcs and am not a noob but do like a second opinion from time to time. I also know the Intels are faster but I don't need that kind of power and I like to keep the cost more in the range of power I need. I'm also not a hard-core gamer either. The 6300 is about $140 at Newegg. I also have the money, just not sure if it's worth the cost.

if you don't need power and it isn't for hardcore gaming then it wouldn't be no point unless you just have to have 2 extra cores
and what makes you think 2 extras would help with loading videos on youtube?
